Matchbox Madness

Aunt Shirley and Uncle Rich sent Danny a box filled with goodies today! You know these are good toys, since they were all played with and pre-loved by cousin Kyle. Inside was another Elmo doll (he's carting around three of them now, and can't hold on to all of them at once, so Mommy is his "Elmo lady in waiting") lots of trucks, and Matchbox cars!

Mommy and Daniel love to put together Matchbox car racetracks, and every day it seems like they are getting more and more elaborate. Today we spread the track through the whole playroom. Then Danny had Mommy send the cars down while he and Elmo watched from his front row "box seat!"

Today we made the track go through the parking garage, over the duck, down over the Play-Doh, on top of the xylophone (the keys even played a tune when the car ran over them), under the Elmo book, between Tigger's legs, through the school bus, and into the drum, making a thump when the car hit the top of the drum!

I think that maybe Mommy enjoys making the tracks, too!
