One of the biggest pieces of news from the last week (more to come soon in other posts) is that Daniel has officially transitioned to a big boy bed! We had a full-size pillow-top mattress set delivered last weekend and sleep for Daniel hasn't been the same since (and that's a good thing!). He sleeps perfectly throughout the night and takes amazing naps, all snuggled in that comfy bed. The other amazing thing is that he doesn't get out of the bed at all during the night, or even when he awakes in the morning. We found him laying at the foot of the bed one morning last week reading to himself!
His new bedroom has a train theme, but will also feature collages of other vehicles...
We'll post pictures of his completed new bedroom soon!
Oh, a little explanation is needed for this picture: Daniel is wearing his favorite Elmo shirt with his favorite "Seenta" (santa) pajama bottoms, with a band-aid covering a scab on his forehead (only way to keep him from picking it), chocolate around his mouth from a chocolate bar, and marker all over his face - just lovely!
