We're having another boy!! We are 20 weeks pregnant, and baby is healthy and looks great! His name is Jason Michael Biek, named after his Daddy and Uncle Jeff. We think that Grandma Joan would approve.

Along with my regular obstetrician, we've also been seeing a prenatal specialist. On Thursday we got some wonderful news- all of the test results show that everything looks great! Ultrasound, blood work, all the tests came back best case scenario, and the specialist said that we don't have to go back and see him again! YIPPEEE!!!
It also looks like Mr. Jason will now be a "Turkey Baby" and not a "Santa Baby!" His due date was originally Christmas eve, and is now officially December 17. I'll be induced between 37 & 38 weeks, so Jason will be here the last week of November or the first week of December! Since Thanksgiving is the 28th this year, I'm guessing my ob won't want to be at the hospital for Turkey Day, so he'll probably set the date around December 1. Jason and Mommy will have the same birthstone, but thankfully the poor little guy won't have a Christmas birthday like me!
I've been feeling him move for about three weeks now, and like his big brother, he's a night owl! He is also a very active baby, which gives us both peace of mind. We've barely had to use the doppler at all. He's measuring a little long for his age, but we're all so tall, so I'd say he's right on target! Jason is 10 inches long, and weighs 10 ounces. He's nearly half the length he'll be at birth, but will pack on alot more weight! I'm predicting another baby with big, chubby cheeks! Both Alexandra and Daniel had those chubby Gerber baby pinchy cheeks!
Daniel is so excited to meet his little brother! We told him that Jason is in Mommy's belly, so he also pretends that he has a baby in his belly, and sometimes he'll hold his belly and say, "Baby Jason's kicking!" We also told him that the baby isn't coming until it's cold outside, and will be here before Santa comes. So Danny thinks that Santa is bringing Baby Jason!
We got some great pictures at the ultrsound the other day, including one where he was just about to suck his thumb. And of course we needed to include the "boy parts" shot!
