We went to the Atlanta Zoo during David's Spring Break. It was Danny's first visit to a zoo! Zoo Atlanta is a big city zoo, but is well laid-out and it seems more intimate and hands-on... just the perfect arrangement for a little explorer!
Daniel was in rapture at the sight of all the animals! He has several pictures books at home that prepared him for the real thing!
This is one of the newest arrivals at Zoo Atlanta - a baby panda bear! She laid motionless on her back high up in a tree the whole time we were there!
The flamingos are beautiful...
Daniel is into naming all of his (and others') body parts. Here he is pointing out the goat's nose (which I'm sure the goat just loved!).
