As native New Yorkers, we've experienced some pretty nasty weather- we've shoveled our way through lake effect snow, driven through blinding sleet, cleaned up after wind storms, gotten nailed with hail storms, huddled in the house during sub-zero temperatures, and even got around live downed power lines during the deadly Ice Storm of 1996. What we've never had to deal with are TWISTERS!
