A few days ago, Papa sent Daniel a toy weed wacker (complete with real motor sounds!) for his birthday. He has been paying with it non-stop, and this thing is driving Mommy crazy! You can hear it all the way across the house! For the first day, Danny was just sitting on the floor and playing with it. Then today he discovered that it's more fun to weed wack actual things! Poor Oscar has been cowering under the couch every time he hears Danny coming close by. The toy obviously doesn't have anything that could be harmful (thus the "wacking" blade is pretend) but it is really loud.

And then giving bunny hugs and kisses after Mommy explained that bunny (and poor Oscar!!) do not like to be "wacked." He also attempted to give Oscar kisses of apology, but Mr. Mayer was unavailable at the time (still hiding under the couch).
