Second Bathroom Finished!

Finally..... the blood red "house of horrors" bathroom looks a little more tranquil and easy on the eyes! This took FOREVER to paint. The bathroom ended up being painted three entire times - one coat of tinted primer and two top coats of light green (not my favorite color choice for a bathroom, but I needed to find a color to match the green tiles on the wall).

Many gouges had to be repaired in the plaster in addition to stripping the wallpaper on one of the walls (it had wallpaper glue streaks on it due to the humidity - just hideous). Here are the pics:

The other thing to notice is that the wall opposite the shower curtain is shared with the master bathroom. Our thinking is that we'll knock this single wall out and combine the two bathrooms that way - we plan to do this in the next year. We'll totally redo everything, adding a new tub, tiled shower and double sink.

Our next project- tackling the sunroom (aka Danny's play room!) We're going from painting a ketchup room to a mustard room! Stay tuned!
