Even though we were in New York for just a little over a week, we tried to see as many loved ones as possible! It has been almost a year since we moved, and everyone was amazed at how Danny has grown so tall- and thinned out! He was the chunkiest, rolly-polly meatball baby! Now he's such a tall, skinny big boy!
The Bisnetts
MANY thanks to the Bisnetts for letting us stay and play at your house! We had a great time hanging out- it was just like old times watching the Sopranos and eating gabba-gool! Danny discovered tons of great new tricks from the Biz boys- he's been climbing up the stove and kitchen cabinets ever since we got home. It took him a few days, but he did discover that Eli was an actual person, and not a doll or some sort of strange, bald dog. Dana's cooking was, and still is THE BEST!! Thanks so much, guys, we can't wait to do Disney this winter with you!

Daniel loved this toy so much, I bought him one as soon as we got home!
The McCaddens
Angel and Danielle have been friends since high school (Fairport class of 1994- I feel so old!) Baby Andrew was born after we moved, so we were excited to meet the new McCadden. Andrew was actually born on Danny's first birthday. They are exactly one year and five minutes apart, so they are special "birthday buddies" Alexis and Emma took Danny to the sandbox, where he had a blast!

He also got a kick out of climbing the rock wall on the swing set. Daddy is already looking at plans to make Danny one!

Emma and Danny

Dan also became friends with Jax the cat
We were also able to stop by and visit Great-Grandma and Grandpa Barry, and Aunt Shirley. Aunt Shirley was Danny's first caretaker in NY when Mommy was still working for JPMorgan Chase, and Daddy was writing his dissertation. Danny was very happy to see everyone there, and to play with the fun toys!

Shirley and Danny
This picture is actually very precious to Daddy, because 30 years ago, his Mommy took this same picture in this exact spot at his Grandma's house. Can you tell which one is Daniel and which is David?

Pooped pup! He played so hard he passed out right on the floor!
We also spent alot of time with Grandma and Papa Gannon. Dan loved playing in the dirt pile with his cousins Cielle and Anthony. Grandma and Papa also fulfilled every little boy's wish- toy store shopping! Papa hooked him up with a new school bus, matchbox cars, and a Thomas the Train set! Danny also did the cutest thing. He would stop playing, find Grandma, and give her a big kiss! It was so cute!
