An Angel wrote in the book of life about my baby's birth.
She whispered as she closed the book,
"Too beautiful for this earth."

Daniel has a big sister baby angel, Alexandra Helene.
One of the hardest parts of moving away from Rochester was knowing that her memorial site would be so very far away from us. Mommy was very excited to visit Lexi, and to make her site beautiful for summer.

This was also the first time that Danny was old enough to visit and walk around the baby angel section. He was fascinated with the pinwheels, and walked around with Lexi's pinwheel while Mommy and Daddy weeded and planted flowers.

We had brought a beautiful personalized butterfly flag for Alexandra, and planted flowers in "Lexi" colors- pink and yellow (the colors of the two dresses that she wore when she was born) She also got a bouquet of Mommy's favorite flowers, yellow and pink gerbera daisies.

When it was time to leave, Danny graciously gave his sister back her pinwheel, and blew her kisses as we walked down the path. She sent us kisses back by spinning her pinwheel as fast as it could go!

Even though we are so far away from Alexandra's site, she is always with us in our hearts.
We love you, Princess Lexi! Butterfly kisses to you!

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam,
And for a brief moment its glory and beauty
belong to our world.
But then it flies on again....
Though we wish it could have stayed,
We feel lucky to have seen it.
She whispered as she closed the book,
"Too beautiful for this earth."
