Bad Infomercials
Well, the first night was exhausting. We are using the Arm's Reach mini-cosleeper, and Jason will have none of it! He would only sleep last night if held in one of our arms. The mini-cosleeper should be renamed the "maxi-everyone-awaker", or the "deluxe no-sleep-for-you-er". All night/morning, I had dreams of bizarre infomercials.
There was the new product from the makers of the med-alert "help I've fallen..." bracelet, the "Hey! I'm awake, and you can't be asleep" insomnia machine (aka alert infant). And you've seen those infamous knife commercials - they've got a new product called the "ginsu baby" - sales pitch? "It nurses, it poops-es, you won't believe how incredibly effective this product is! And if you act now, we'll throw in not one, but TWO exhausted parents. And for our first 100 callers, we have a special bonus - a preschooler who wakes up at the crack of dawn wanting to play! Hurry, this is a limited time offer" (we hope!)
OK, don't worry - I'm not quitting my day job anytime soon! zzzzzzzzzz

LOL! Sleep will come again some day. Hey, you could be blessed with one of mine. He is 6 and still wakes in the middle of the night needing assistance about 4 nights a week. Hopefully, yours will not bless you with this gift.
Blessings,
Dawn
Sorry about the lack of sleep but he is just gorgeous. Grandpa and Grandma Biek
He is so cute. You'll sleep again eventually, just enjoy these times now. Love the xmas card photo!
